branding
case studies

Below are some examples on the three different kinds of branding direction that I have done and am capable of doing. The first is a global identity for an organization. The second an example of how a brand book would be created for a specific identity within a brand, and finally an example of a identity created for an individual person.

PLANETERRA

Planeterra is the leading non-profit using community tourism to change lives.

When creating this identity I used their brand messaging and projcets to inspire the direction. Organic shapes, things like a sprouting leaf and seeds, welcoming hands, out of the box thinking and problem solving, fields of produce, were just some of the ideas that helped imagine their identity.

The images below showcase the ideation and concept before arriving at the final design. It is multi-faceted, showcasing an abstract letter 'P'. It resembles a sprouting leaf,  and looks a seed.

Some of the thinking that went in to the sketches...
As mentioned above, I explored the concept of the leaf, seeds, fields of produce, organic shapes.
Interestingly the nordic symbol for Joy is P.

PURA EARTH
BRAND BOOK

Pura Earth is a brand that I created for the cosmetic branch of Avicanna based in the Colombia. The brand already had an identity but it wasn't solidified or had strong guidelines to it's approach disjointing a lot of its creative execution.

I was tasked with auditing all the assets and creating a band guide book that is still in use today to help harmonize all their creative assets whether print or digital.

ESSENTIELLE
BY SHAMELLE

Essentielle is the art child of Shamelle and I was asked to create an identity for her brand. I created a design motif using her initials S.S. and coincidentally emulating the two in Essentielle, to create the S shapes which formed the base of all the design style.

It can be re-arranged into an abstract geometric print as shown on the tee but can also be turned into a type of hazard tape for a fun graphic aesthetic.
